“In return for my love they accuse me, but I give myself to prayer” (Psalms 109:4). The Hebrew literally says “I am prayer”; it should be a part of who we are.
Christians pray to the Father in the name and authority of Jesus, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Our prayers should seek spiritual fruit, personal growth, and the glory of God in our lives.
Prayer is a dialog. It does not end after we recited our requests to God and said “Amen.” He is with us all day, and we can expect Him to speak to us always.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”
