“Therefore you shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48) is not a call to absolute flawlessness but to pursue excellence, completion, and a life fully dedicated to Christ.
God’s moral attributes include such qualities as His love, holiness, justice, and mercy. As His children, Christians are called to reflect such qualities.
