This is part 1 of a two-part series, based on a Pentecost sermon I preached in my recent Hermeneutics and Homiletics class. Inspired by John 16:8-11, I share a bit of my testimony of being filled with the Holy Spirit.
While John the Baptist was Jesus’ forerunner, he was also an example for all who would follow Christ. We, too, must decrease so that Jesus’ presence, power, and prominence may increase in our lives and spheres of influence.
